Management & Leadership Development Programmes

Many companies offer management development programmes focusing on the usual aspects of performance, communication and leadership.  They provide input sessions on leadership theory, run exercises to look at problem-solving and give tools to improve communication.  At Visions we’re a little different.  We don’t build our programmes from the inputs up; we start with the desired end goal for the individual and organisation and we promise lasting change.

How do we do this?Yes, we use some tools and techniques – we don’t ignore the theory.  But what we do is ground that theory in reality.  We believe in learning by doing so we concentrate on incorporating behavioural-based learning into our programmes.  Our experience tells us that this enables individuals to build practical skills which will make the transition from the classroom back to the workplace.   

We provide individuals with an opportunity to look at themselves honestly and objectively.  We challenge them to think differently about themselves and the work that they do.  We offer individuals support and care in doing this and, when appropriate, critique and testing.  Our programmes don’t allow for ‘passengers’ – we ask for total participation and in return we promise total development. 

Visions work with clients to agree the end goals needed and from that premise we design unique programmes that are highly interactive, practical and compelling.  One thing that our programmes are not is predictable and dull – we understand the importance of having fun whilst learning and we offer up-to-the minute ideas and experiences.
